Our centre actively participates in a variety of outreach activities through delivering invited talks, guest lectures, visits, field trips and more. These engagements enable CHM to share expertise, foster dialogue, and promote awareness of health within the community. Through these activities, CHM aims to build connections, inspire learning, and contribute to meaningful community interactions.


28 March 2026 - Hong Kong Women's Health Symposium
The Modern Women's Health Timeline
The Hong Kong Women's Health Symposium, organized by the Hong Kong Menopause Society, will feature a talk titled "The Modern Women's Health Timeline," with Prof. Olga Zayts, Director of HKU Centre for the Humanities and Medicine and HKU RIICH, serving as a guest lecturer. Prof. Zayts, a linguistic scholar specializing in health communication, will discuss menopause from her expertise, exploring women's health from menarche to menopause and beyond. Participation is by invitation only.

2 March 2026 - When Tradition Meets Innovation
Prof. Olga Zayts, Director of HKU CHM, visited Shenzhen Shenpingtang TCM Clinic for a dynamic exchange with Dr. Yu Yang, a leading expert in acupuncture therapy. Their discussion delved into healthcare among different cultures and working with local healthcare practitioners.
