DR. WENDY WONG

Dr. Wendy Wong is a distinguished Hong Kong-registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner specializing in cancer care and women’s health. With extensive expertise in enhancing doctor-patient communication, she empowers both Western and Chinese Medicine practitioners to adopt evidence-based practices for improved primary care quality.

Currently in private practice, Dr. Wong serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care and as an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care at the University of Hong Kong’s School of Clinical Medicine. She is also a Visiting Consultant at HEAL Oncology New Frontier Health in Shenzhen. Her past roles include Assistant Professor at HKIIM and Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Hong Kong's Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, where she specialized in validating patient-reported outcomes, randomized controlled trials on acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and primary care research.

Dr. Wong graduated in Biomedical Science and Chinese Medicine from Hong Kong Baptist University (2004) and earned a PhD in Family Medicine and Primary Care from the University of Hong Kong, focusing on the effectiveness of Chinese Medicine in primary care. As a grant holder and co-investigator on numerous projects, her research has been published in leading international journals such as Scientific Reports, PLOS ONE, and Quality of Life Research.

Dr. Wong’s dedication to integrative medicine and her contributions to advancing Chinese Medicine have positioned her as a key figure in promoting evidence-based integrative health practices across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and globally.

黃韻婷博士是一位香港註冊中醫師，于2021年開始私人執業。她目前擔任希愈客席註冊中醫顧問，同時兼任中文大學賽馬會公共衛生學院及基醫醫療學院客座副教授、香港大學臨床醫學院家庭醫學及基層醫療學系名譽副教授。曾任中西醫結合醫學研究所客席副教授及助理教授、北京中醫藥大學國家中醫體質治未病研究榮譽教授。黃韻婷博士于2004年獲得香港浸會大學中醫士生物醫學理學士（榮譽）雙學位，隨後在香港大學李嘉誠醫院家庭醫學及基層醫療學系獲得博士（哲學）學位和博士後資格。黃博士的研究領域包括中醫在基層醫療中的效果、中醫/針灸的臨床研究方法學、中醫生存品質或體質量表的制定和編制、中醫基層醫療流行病學研究、中醫癌症的生存回顧性研究以及中醫治療的成本效益研究等。她致力於培訓中醫和西醫的臨床研究基礎，以提高循證醫學的水準，使病人受益于科研成果。除了專注於中醫藥在婦科和癌症臨床應用方面，黃博士還參與並主持了多個香港政府和醫管局的臨床研究基金項目。她的研究成果曾發表在國際科學期刊上，如Scientific Reports、PLos、Family Practice、Quality of Life Research、Complementary Therapies in Medicine和Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine。
